About Us

Pinner House is a charity formed in 1948 with the  objective of providing housing for elderly persons in need of such housing. It is governed by a board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring the charity is properly staffed and managed in order to deliver its objectives.

Meet the Pinner House team

Pinner House is managed by a board of trustees who all bring a variety of skill sets to the smooth running and governance of Pinner House. All our trustees are performing these duties on a voluntary basis and are unpaid.

Martin Tilney - Acting Chairman

Martin has been involved as a trustee of Pinner House since 2009 and has served as Vice Chairman since 2018.Martin has lived in the Pinner area for most of his adult life and is married with 3 children and is passionate about Pinner House, and making it an enjoyable place for our residents to live and enjoy life

Martin has a wealth of commercial experience in sales and Marketing gained from working with large organisations in the consumer goods arena including HJ Heinz, Quaker oats and Pepsico and is currently a Senior Director at Del Monte foods

Diane Tuck - Trustee

Mark Manning - Trustee

Mark was appointed as a trustee of Pinner House in 2022. Mark has lived in the Pinner area for over 20 years. He is a fervent believer in how quality real estate can improve and enhance life.

Mark is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in real estate finance, operations and technology. Mark qualified with Arthur Andersen and held a number of senior finance roles at The British Land Company plc. He has his own real estate consulting business.

Clare Dorey - Trustee

In her professional life in MD and operating Board Director roles, Clare has over 30 years’ experience delivering to, and creating social value with, Local Government and Housing Association sector customers. A commercial business leader, with extensive strategy, change leadership, contract management and governance expertise; experienced in software, IT and business process outsourcing, and professional services sectors.

Clare has lived in Pinner for over 25 years and has recently joined PHS’s board of trustees. She is currently leading on risk and data protection.

Shahn Ahmad - Financial Controller (part-time)

Shahn has been part-time Financial Controller at Pinner House since 2020. Shahn has 20 years experience in Finance working mainly in the Entertainment sector for companies including Disney and Virgin.

Shahn has lived in the Pinner area for 30 years and is married with one daughter.
